Calvary Medical Centre
A nonprofit medical center providing free and affordable healthcare to vulnerable communities in Uganda and East Africa.
Our Mission
Calvary Medical Centre (CMC) is dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved communities, including villages, refugee camps, and urban slums. We provide essential medical services to those who need it most.
About Calvary Medical Centre
Established in 2016, CMC operates as a 24-hour medical facility in Kavule, offering:
Dental care
Maternity services
Sonography
Immunization
Laboratory tests
Minor surgeries

Bridging the Healthcare Gap
Rural communities like Kavule face extreme difficulties accessing medical care. Many travel hours or days to the nearest hospital, leading to preventable deaths. CMC is committed to filling this gap with life-saving healthcare services.
Medical Safari: Bringing Healthcare to Remote Communities
Our Medical Safaris address healthcare challenges by organizing mobile clinics that provide:
Free dental checks & treatments
Minor surgeries
Antenatal checks
HIV testing
Circumcision

Sustainability & Community Support
Regular patients pay a small fee to sustain the facility, while vulnerable groups receive free care through donor-funded medical camps. Your support helps us provide life-saving treatment.
Our Water Project
Providing Clean and Safe Water to Communities in Need
At Calvary Medical Centre, we focus on sustainable water solutions by building new wells, rehabbing neglected water points, protecting springs, and installing sand dams when appropriate. Each community we serve has unique needs, shaped by their geology, climate, and culture, which helps us tailor the best water solutions. With expert guidance, we empower local communities to take charge of their water systems.
Your support helps us mobilize communities, ensure careful project construction, and provide long-term follow-up to maintain clean water access.
